What's the difference between COSMOS NATURAL and COSMOS Organic?

Both certifications require 95%+ ingredients of natural origin. Velora carries the NATURAL certification — appropriate for our formulations because they include water and minerals (which cannot legally be 'organic') alongside botanical actives.

How often is Velora's certification audited?

ECOCERT performs unannounced audits of the SIA Nord Beauty facility every two years. The audit covers the formula composition, supply chain (verifying that each ingredient meets COSMOS standards), labelling, and manufacturing processes. The certificate is renewed only after a successful audit. The next audit cycle is scheduled for 2027.
